Steel Bottom Oil Pan – MK4 TDI Retrofit

Description

New steel bottomed oil pan for ALH and BEW engine cars, including all New Beetle TDI, Golf TDI and Jetta TDI between 1999.5 and 2005.

Unlike the aluminum pan that is prone to cracking when impacted, the stronger steel bottomed pan will bend or dent, maintaining oil and oil pressure. A cracked oil pan will render the vehicle incapacitated.

Comes with a bottle of RTV included but a gasket is available as an add on if preferred.

This pan is considered a retrofit upgrade as it may interfere with and require moving the power steering line or shaving of the A/C compressor and other items. Fitment is not guaranteed.
